Meet Stacey Roberts
With over 25 years of experience, Stacey Roberts is the powerhouse Director of the SALTovation team at TaxOps, known for simplifying State and Local tax (SALT) for thousands of businesses. Stacey has a reputation for guiding dynamic businesses through the complexities of compliance, strategic planning, risk management, and optimizing tax positions—whether it’s during due diligence or tax planning that maximizes deal value.
Stacey’s impressive career began at Andersen Worldwide/Andersen LLP, where she honed her SALT expertise. She has also held leadership roles at KPMG, Deloitte, and a Fortune 500 company, before spearheading the national SALT practice at a regional firm. Now at TaxOps, she continues to shape the future of tax strategy for businesses of all sizes.
In addition to her role at TaxOps, Stacey is actively involved in shaping tax policy as a member of the Colorado Legislative Tax Policy Task Force. She is a sought-after speaker, prolific author, and now, the Vice Chair of the 2025 State Income Tax School Committee. Stacey regularly contributes her expertise to industry-leading publications such as the Journal of State Taxation and Strafford Publishing.
