As a technical writer, Christina Higham specializes in documenting company compliance with IRS regulations for Research & Development (R&D) tax credits. Since 2021 Christina has assisted in identifying qualifying R&D projects and activities, as well as crafted detailed technical reports that clearly articulate how companies meet eligibility requirements for these significant tax incentives. Christina’s background includes multiple roles in determining strategy, operation management, writing and marketing, customer service, and team management spheres resulting in a broad skill set. Before her current role, Christina served as the Social Media Manager at Penrod Dental, where she designed, developed, and executed digital marketing strategies, managed SEO performance, and coordinated with marketing agencies to develop print and digital campaigns. Prior to that she served as Operations Manager for the Utah Apartment Association, where she was responsible for financial oversight, member relationships and services, publication management and extensive copywriting, and enhancing operational and board-to-staff efficiency. As a clinic administrator for a Massage Envy in Utah, Christina served in a management role while also creating long-term business strategy, managing team and customer relations, and improving clinic systems and processes. Earlier experience in sales, editing, and freelance writing with BYU Broadcasting has additionally uniquely equipped her to approach her writing holistically, ensuring large amounts of information can be distilled into coherent and concise explanations while still maintaining effective communication of comprehensive business activities and goals.
Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with minors in Editing and Humanities from Brigham Young University. As a military spouse currently residing in Colorado with her husband and four children, she enjoys exploring the national parks and great outdoors, traveling anywhere and time she can get a chance, and volunteering actively with Girl Scouts of the USA.
