Nathan Kendig – Director, Tax Minimization

Nathan Kendig has over 20 years of consulting experience supporting Fortune 500 companies and public accounting firms. His work with TaxOps includes information systems development, data integration, financial and data analysis, regulatory compliance, and R&D tax credit consulting.

Nathan supports regulatory responses and corporate initiatives—such as accounting restatements, policy updates, and incentive compensation redesigns—by translating complex data into clear, decision-ready insights. His work includes building data pipelines, reconciling financial records, identifying inconsistencies, and quantifying potential exposure or impact. These efforts help organizations support audit-ready R&D credit claims as well as make informed decisions, meet compliance requirements, and strengthen internal controls.

Earlier in his career, Nathan worked in Ernst & Young’s federal tax practice, focusing on R&D tax credits and M&A fixed asset cost allocations. He also spent time in PwC’s data management group, where he supported auditors in using general ledger data to meet fraud-testing standards introduced after the Enron and WorldCom scandals. These experiences helped him build a strong foundation in data analysis and reporting.

Nathan holds a Master of Accounting with an emphasis in tax accounting from Brigham Young University.
